Volunteer Award
Kent Explorers can now participate in the Volunteer Award allowing you to earn badges for various amounts of volunteering. You will be awarded badges at the following milestones:
- Bronze award 25 Hours
- Silver Award 50 Hours
- Gold Award 100 Hours
- Diamond Award 250 Hours
- Platinum Award 500 Hours
Remember Volunteering is voluntary and you are not doing it for money. What else do you need to do? 1. Get a copy of the log sheet from the Kent scout website 2. Ask your leader if it is safe to help out and volunteer where you want to 3. Fill out the sheet with the hours that you have completed 4. Ask your leader to sign the sheet to confirm you have completed the hours 5. Once the sheet is complete, send it to the county office: Kent Scouts, Lower Grange Farm, Grange Lane, Sandling, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 3DA

Q: Can you carry the badges over from your Scout Uniform?
A: Yes, please remove them from your scout uniform and sew onto the Explorer Uniform in the same place.
